… and indeed it is. The 2011 awards launched in style last week, with a Private View of the Travel Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London.
The exhibition features the winning images from the 2010 awards, and it’s pulling in the crowds, with a steady stream of visitors passing through the glass-fronted Pavilion at the Society each day. It’s free to enter, so you can browse to your heart’s content, without making a hole in your bank account. To learn more, including location and opening times, visit the Society’s website.
